It was $15 on PSN. Meh. Time to spam Sunday Cup until I get my M3.
Oh, HAY! It’s everyone’s favorite car!

You are talking to the guy who put 10+ hours into DiRT 3 over the weekend. It was a good weekend to hide in a wave of nostalgia.

Got it for free too? I have heard that Dirt Rally is infinitely better but free is free. I just want to figure out a way to hook up a PS3 controller to my laptop and then it should be fun. Probably will run like crap though, wish it was free on the console (dont have PS plus).

The redbull challenges are fun, definitely do those.

Well, for me, it wasn’t really nostalgia although it did bring back some memories. I was planning on making one or two more trips to a couple track days, but my mechanic made me slow my roll because my rotors were warped to all hell.
I’m just looking for something to scratch the itch during the offseason. This was the cheapest solution.

DiRT rally is a much better sim but it is not kind to casual play. DiRT 3 makes a better game to play for fun while DiRT rally is a better sim. I vastly prefer DiRT rally but I don’t have my wheel at my dorm making DiRT 3 the better experience from a stress perspective. There are programs which allow you to map a DS3 to the xinput standard used by Xbox controllers though YMMV.

Did they really get rid of the Used Car lot? That was one of the best things from my GT4 days.

Cool! I’m a total nerd about that game. The Goodwood challenges are great.

Oh yeah that kinda pissed me off. It is weird the things they added/removed between those two games. GT4 was literally perfect. I kinda wished GT6 was the same exact game just with the updated visuals and driving dynamics. I would have gladly played that far more frequently.

Well the bigger concern is my laptop being a laggy piece of crap. It is ~7 years old at this point haha. I tend to only play Civ 5 on it anymore since that doesnt require a whole lot of resources. I will give it a shot though on the lowest settings, I recall a pirated version of Dirt 2 ran smoothly enough.

They have a track maker, tablet-only. Doesn’t matter, though, cuz there are APKs for that that can be run on a PC.
I have one, but the trouble is that I don’t have the game and the console.

DiRT 3 isn’t too much more demanding than DiRT 2. DiRT rally is a bit more resource intensive though.

You can add me, blunion05, if you’re ever interested in playing online.

Can’t say, sorry. I don’t have a PS4.

Are you playing with a wheel?

I really (really) liked GT6, but being forced to drive a piece of shit Fit/Jazz with a CVT at the start was disgusting.

Nope. Sticks, mang.

I did one of the Senna challenges after finishing the Sunday Cup. Gave me 500K+. Bye bye, Fit.
Helloooooooo, nurse!

Fine choices, all! Though when I want a big fast BMW I can never resist the V10 M5.
